The STE-8400M is a gigabit media converter that provides 1 gigabit Fiber port and 1 gigabit ethernet port.
It converts gigabit fiber to gigabit ethernet, or gigabit ethernet to gigabit fiber. It extends the network from MM gigabit fiber 550m to SM gigabit fiber 120Km. As a gigabit media converter, the STE-8400M is compatible with 10mbps, 100mbps, 1000mbps ethernet. Its power supply can be optionally internal or external.
